Dr. Garrett Higbee
is the founder and President of Twelve Stones Ministries, Inc. (TS). He is also the Director of the Harvest Bible Chapel Biblical Counseling Ministry.
Garrett was trained as a clinical psychologist specializing in marriage and family counseling. In 1995 he left that field after 15 years of working in hospitals, residential, and private practice. It was at that time Dr. Higbee had a radical change of heart as God showed him that true hope and help for man’s most profound problems are found in Christ and His Word. He then joined a residential ministry for youth as clinical director.
Four years later Garrett was called to be on staff at College Park Church in Indianapolis where he grew to have a passion for the church and its responsibility for soul care. In 2004 he founded Twelve Stones Ministries, a short-term, biblically based residential counseling ministry whose mission is “to return soul care to the church.”
Garrett is a frequent conference speaker for Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries, NANC training conferences, and church based biblical counseling conferences around the country. He also serves as a visiting professor at Southern Seminary and Faith Baptist Seminary.
He currently resides in the Chicago area with his wife Tammy and their 3 children.
