Dr. Garrett Higbee is the Executive Director of the Harvest Bible Chapel Biblical Soul Care Ministries. He is also the founder and president of Twelve Stones Ministries, Inc.

Garrett was trained as a clinical psychologist specializing in marriage and family counseling. In 1995 he left that field after 15 years of working in hospitals, residential, and private practice. It was at that time Dr. Higbee had a radical change of heart as God showed him that true hope and help for man’s most profound problems are found in Christ and His Word. He then joined a residential ministry for youth as clinical director.

Four years later Garrett was called to be on staff at College Park Church in Indianapolis where he grew to have a passion for the church and its responsibility for soul care. In 2004 he founded Twelve Stones Ministries, a short-term, biblically based residential counseling ministry whose mission is “to return soul care to the church.”

Garrett is on the founding board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He also serves as a visiting professor at Faith Baptist Seminary in Lafayette, Indiana.

He currently resides in the Chicago area with his wife Tammy and their 3 children.

James MacDonald is married to his high school sweetheart, Kathy, from Ontario, Canada. And he is the father of three grown children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and four amazing grandsons. James’ ministry focuses on the unapologetic proclamation of God’s Word. In 1988, along with a small group of ministry partners, James and Kathy planted Harvest Bible Chapel which has grown to 13,000 people each weekend, meeting in six locations.

In 1997, a Bible teaching broadcast ministry called Walk in the Word was established, now reaching more than three million people weekly. In 2002, a church planting ministry called Harvest Bible Fellowship was born and has given birth to over 70 churches across North America and around the world. James’ vision is that God will use him to help plant 1,000 churches in the next 20 years.

James’ extensive ministry also includes a training center for pastors, a year-round camp, a biblical counseling center, and a Christian school—all used to reach more people with the life-changing message of the Gospel.

Now impacting millions of lives annually, God’s favor upon these ministries has been what James describes as “abundantly baffling.” The MacDonalds view these blessings as proof only that God still works through broken vessels to pour out His grace.
